Good news for Led Zeppelin fans - iconic guitarist Jimmy Page looks set to hit the road, announcing that he's 'warming up' to tour again.
Last year saw a back and forth between Page and frontman Robert Plant make a Led Zep reunion become growingly unlikely - with Plant distancing himself from the guitarist's attempts, before he simply became 'fed up'.
Now, speaking at a London listening session for the remastered Physical Graffiti, it looks like Page could return on his own.
“How it starts off is that you have to play guitar and get match fit, so currently I’m sort of in the process of doing that but I’m also in process of doing this [reissue series] too,” he said, reports NME. “[Live shows] would more or less be closer to the end of the year rather than next month. But you know, I’m definitely warming up on the touchlines, let’s put it that way.”
Speaking to Gigwise last year about future touring plans, either solo or with Led Zeppelin, Page said: ""I intend to be playing myself - seen to be playing and out there playing.
"The music that I would do goes before Led Zeppelin, and beyond. So obviously it's a major part of my musical career so I'm going to play their music. Why wouldn't I?"
